Benefitting Breast Cancer Research, Survivor Care and Early Detection
Almost every one of us has a loved one, dear friend, or valued colleague whose life has been forever changed by this insidious disease. It is the most common cancer in women worldwide.
In 2019, a breast cancer will be newly diagnosed every 2 minutes and a woman will die every 13 minutes.
In 2019, one in eight women in The United States will receive a diagnosis of breast cancer in their lifetime.
In 2019, one in 883 men will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.

In 2006 the first Playing For Life Invitational Tournament and Breast Cancer Fundraiser was held.
In 2008 The Playing for Life Foundation was formed as a 501c3 organization. The Foundation plans are to host various types of fundraising events in the future.
In 2009 we held our first 100 Holes of Golf at Promontory Golf Club.
In 2010 and 2011 we held a used club sale at the Park City Golf Club.
In 2011 we joined with Image Reborn hosting a Bowling For Life event.
In 2012 The Playing for Life Foundation added an early detection Mammogram Program. Joining with The Peoples' Health Clinic to provide free mammograms for those without insurance coverage.
In 2015 we opened our Golf Tournament to men.
We have raised over $86,000 dollars, which has been donated to The Huntsman Cancer Institute for cancer research, Image Reborn Foundation for cancer survivors and People's Health Clinic to provide breast exams for those who don't have insurance.
We are an all-volunteer organization with 98% of the funds we raise being donated locally.

We need your help, and hope that you will consider us when deciding your charitable donations in the future.
To raise funds through different platforms such as golf tournaments or other events to benefit breast cancer research for the purpose of finding a cure, early detection, survivor care, support and treatment. As this is an all-volunteer organization. Since 2010, 98% of funds raised have been donated locally to other organizations specifically involved with breast cancer research, survivor care and early detection, which are also exempt under section 501c3.
